What to Include if Your Inquiry Concerns a Dispute

Please provide a brief, truthful summary of your situation. You do not need to include every detail in the first message. CJS will review the inquiry and may request additional information if the matter appears appropriate for further review.

Helpful information may include:

  • who is involved;
  • the general nature of the conflict;
  • whether the other party may be willing to participate;
  • whether there are safety concerns;
  • whether there are legal deadlines, court cases, or urgent matters;
  • what kind of help you are seeking.

What Happens After You Submit?
CJS receives and reviews your inquiry to determine whether the matter appears appropriate for further consideration. We may contact you if additional information is needed.

If the matter appears appropriate for an initial interview: CJS will email you a private scheduling link so you can choose a convenient time for a telephone interview with a Case Coordinator. CJS will call you at the telephone number you provide when scheduling.

If additional information is needed: CJS may contact you before deciding whether to proceed.

If the matter is not appropriate for CJS: We will notify you and, when appropriate, provide general referral information or suggest another type of resource that may be better suited to your situation.

Submitting a request does not mean CJS has accepted the matter, agreed to provide services, or reached any conclusion about the dispute.

Response Time

CJS will respond to inquiries as soon as reasonably possible. Submitting a website inquiry does not create a legal, pastoral, mediation, arbitration, or advisory relationship unless CJS separately confirms acceptance of the matter in writing.
